This was our last day in Süd-Tirol, and we had a final chance to taste the great breakfast buffet at the Cavallino Bianco.
As we had not taken any pictures at the breakfast we walked around to give you some impression how it looked like.
This cook made every fried type of breakfast food you liked (such as ham & eggs etc.).
Plenty types of tea to choose from.
Champagne & Salmon.
Varied types of fruits, all of best quality and very fresh.
Butter, jam and other types of spreads.
Chesse and sausage.
Ham and salami.
Here you can mix your own Müsli.
Various types of bread.
At breakfast there was always live music, to give you a nicer start into the day.
Various cakes and pastries.
More pictures of different parts of the breakfast room.
Later we had to return home, but as the weather was finally nice again we did not take the quickest route on the highway, but we drove back right through the dolomitian mountains, to get a few more impressions of this beautiful area.
This is the backside of "Langkofel".
Passo Pordoi - The highest point that we reached by car.
The southern side of the "Sella" mountain group.
A German war memorial.
The small town "Arabba" inmidst the dolomitian mountains.
An artillery gun from the 1st World War.
We continued our journey east towards the "Passo Falzarego".
Lunch break at "Passo Falzarego".
The Misurina lake with the famous "Drei Zinnen" (three columns).
A typical souvenir shop near the Misurina lake.
We went in there to buy some snacks and drinks.
Enjoying the sunshine, the view, a beer and family life at this nice place.
Finally we left Südtirol/Italy.
This Italian war memorial was just a few km's from the Austrian boarder.
In the evening we made a final stop in Salzburg/Pinzgau, after we had bought some food in an Austrian supermarket.
A happy family returning home from a great holiday.
